Help with foundation for a 50 yr old please?

I just found a matte mousse foundation in a avon book but picking from a book is hard. now do you pick lighter or darker than your skin. thats it.

I’m an Avon Representative it is hard to get the right color from a book I suggest to put your hand next to the book and pick the closest color but remember that the color of the skin in your face is lighter than the one on your hand…..I will also suggest give a try to the mineral Make up it is wonderful and will give you a softer skin.

if you get the wrong shade you can always return it because Avon is 100% satisfaction

it would be a major challenge to pick up from the book. you might note that the color on the packaging, itself, will not represent the actual effect of the color as it blends with the color of your skin.

if you cant take the risk of getting the wrong color, you might need to try the product and see how it blends with your skin.

but to answer your question, most of the beauty advisers I have met had recommended to me to use a color one shade lighter than my skin color.

So far this works for me. It looks lighter right after application, but some 30 minutes or so later, the colors blend nicely.

…………

you usually pick the same colour as your skin. if they don’t have it then figure out if you are going to tan some more. if you are you should get the darker one. if your skin colour will lighten more over the winter than get the lighter one
