Trail cameras are popular for its much new functionality. One such feature is the time lapse function. In this we just need to place the camera in a position and program it to take pictures in some time intervals. This feature is widely used nowadays in many wild life channels which show various stages of growth of animals or even for plants. This feature is used based on the imagination of the user. The normal video where this technology is used is to capture a pupa becoming a butterfly. This shows the users talent and creative ability. Digital rangefinder cameras work on digital imaging technology. This technology was applied for range finder cameras in 2004. Epson RD1 is the first digital rangefinder camera, which is actually collaboration between Epson and Casino. Most of the digital rangefinder cameras have the same interchangeable lens used on their film or non digital counterparts. Most of the digital rangefinder cameras are expensive when compared to SLRS. There are some advantages and disadvantages of digital rangefinder cameras over SLR cameras. There is no moving mirror in the Digital rangefinder cameras so the momentary black out are avoided making it more prominent in the film industry.

Heat Shields and Avionics
Tuesday, December 30th, 2008Aviation tools are exclusively designed tools ideal for carrying on the maintenance works for the aircrafts, choppers and RVs. The tools and equipments are also used for enhancing the efficiency of the airborne machines and increasing their longevity. Some of the common aviation tools include riveting kits, sheet metal tools, portable plug and jump, Rivet set mix, ATS economy spark plug gapping kit, Sealant Gun Retainer and many more.
A space vehicle is prone to very high heat temperatures on its entry into the earth’s atmosphere. A heat resistant shield therefore, protects space vehicles from the pressure and heat during the interplanetary movements. Aeroshell is a powerful heat shield used in the Apollo mission to moon in the 1960s and 1970s, Mars pathfinder mission, the Viking mission and many more. Plenty of design innovations are being carried out at space research institutes to come up with new aeroshell shapes and designs. This would eventually serve as the key factor in the developing future space missions.

Mitsubishi’s groundbreaking electric car does 100 miles at 87mph with 0 emissions
Monday, December 29th, 2008The first proper-performance, four-seater electric car from Mitsubishi, a major car manufacturer, which is eco friendly and has zero tailpipe emissions, is all set to be launched on the UK market.
According to a report in The Independent, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV (Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle) could herald a new dawn for electric motoring.
Offering zero emissions from its tailpipe, it is the first crash-tested all-electric four-seat vehicle from a mainstream carmaker that will be available in the UK.
The i-MiEV can fit four 6ft adults plus 246 litres of luggage, and reach a top speed of 87mph.
The battery pack, which makes the car 200 kg heavier than its conventional petrol version, sits under the floor and the 47kW (63bhp) electric motor occupies the space near the rear wheels
It will be available in the UK, initially for leasing, from the middle of 2009 and can travel up to 100 miles without charging.
The i-MiEV marks a dramatic leap forward in quality from the vehicles which have so far dominated the electric car market in the UK.
Developed from Mitsubishi’s petrol-driven i-minicar, the i-MiEV is fully crash-tested, and offers double the speed of its predecessors.
Mitsubishi is convinced there is a serious market for the i-MiEV, in spite of the hefty price tag of 35,000 pounds.
Expensive though it is, there seems little doubt the i-MiEV is showing the way to the future of motoring, as the threat of climate change grows and transport policy increasingly bears down on vehicle emissions of carbon dioxide, the principal greenhouse gas.
About 200 cars will be available for leasing from selected UK dealers next summer, for about 750 pounds per month.

Send clear expectations:
Sunday, December 28th, 2008Team building is a term often less understood, rather misunderstood. The primary objective of all team building events is to create the broader sense or meaning, or macro meaning of a team. The broader aim, the broader structure and the broader mind set is too critical for anyone who is a part of a team and these should certainly be in the curriculum of team building events.
Team building consultants often emphasize on certain facts which need to be noted for building a very good team or to achieve something good through a team activity. Primary thing is the act of conveying clear expectations to the team members by the authority. Clear expectations means that the team members should be very well educated about what is expected from them functioning as a team or what possible outcomes should be there at the end of the day.
Apart from that, someone should make the team members understand the reason why a team of such kind was created, why he or she is a part and parcel of that team. The team members should be made convinced that the necessary resources required by them are supplied by the concerned authorities to fulfill the aim.

MSI Releases Free Antivirus/AntiSpyware Tool
Friday, December 19th, 2008Just in time for Christmas, EMSI Software has released “a-squared Free 4.0″, a free tool designed to find and destroy viruses, Trojans, and spyware. Like the $39.90/year a-squared Anti-Malware 4.0, a-squared Free uses two separate scanning engines for comprehensive coverage of the malware spectrum.
“Four eyes are better than two. Better safe than sorry,” said EMSI PR Manager Thomas G?nther. “Two searchers will always find more than one. What more can I say? Our freeware scanner is simply twice as thorough.”
The product is free for non-commercial use on any number of computers, and it will remain free in the long term. It runs under Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2003/2008, and has been redesigned to load faster, use less RAM, and scan faster. Download it here.
I always appreciate a free product, as long as it does a decent job. Unfortunately, my recent evaluation of a-squared Anti-Malware 4.0 showed it much better at keeping malware out of a clean system than at it when already present. The removal side is all you get with the free product. In any case EMSI doesn’t totally believe in removal. A representative told me, “Our philosophy is that once a system is infected, the only way to guarantee safe working is to format and rebuild the operating system.” Ouch!
Just how big is the difference? In the malware removal test it scored 6.3 out of 10 possible points. That’s a seriously low score considering that Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus 6 got 9.8 points on the same test. But it aced the malware blocking test, scoring a perfect 10. Of the standalone antispyware products tested only ThreatFire 3.5 hit that mark. The McAfee, Norton, and ZoneAlarm suites also scored 10 of 10.
So should you download a-squared Free 4.0? Sure! But use it as a second opinion, not as your only malware scanner. If four eyes are better than two, as EMSI says, then six eyes are even better!
Scientists ID Enzyme Causing Brain Cell Death
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008An enzyme believed to play a role in the death of neurons in the brains of patients with Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases has been identified by U.S. researchers.
The finding could help in the development of new drugs to treat these debilitating conditions.
The scientists focused on an enzyme called HDAC1, which configures chromatin, the structural component of chromosomes. Tests in mice found that when HDAC1 is blocked, some neurons start to replicate their DNA as if they were about to divide. This isn’t a natural cycle for neurons and causes them to die. But increased levels of HDAC1 prevent this process and protect neurons.
The finding that HDAC1 is a molecular link between aberrant neuron cell-cycle activity and DNA damage suggests that the enzyme may be a potential target for drugs to treat diseases and conditions that involve neuronal death, the researchers said.
“Our findings provide insight into how neurons die in neurodegenerative diseases and offer a new therapeutic strategy for countering neuronal death,” study leader Li-Huei Tsai, a professor of neuroscience at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said in a school news release.
The study was published in the Dec. 11 issue of Neuron.
