There’s been controversy over this, because there is no “official” color that’s been established. Marketing companies just keep coming out with their own versions. I’ve seen white, blue, purple…

What is the one room in your house that you cannot stand for it to be dirty??

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

the reason i ask is because i cannot stand a dirty bathroom like if i have to clean my room i will clean the bathroom b4 i clean my room…. and so i wanna know if some of you guys always need 1 certain room in your house clean at all times

All of them. I can’t stand too much dust or dusty floors. I am the same about bathrooms too. I like them to be clean smelling and looking. If I literally had the energy I would clean every day.

I can’t stand any of them dirty, but the kitchen bothers me the most when it’s dirty. To me, the kitchen is really the heart of the home. It’s really the center of family activity. It’s almost impossible to get anything done well in the kitchen when it’s dirty, and my husband really dislikes seeing dirty dishes. Plus, if I can get the kitchen clean, I can get any room clean!

my kitchen it took me 3 hrs earlier to clean my kitchen and its a small kitchen but i cleaned the fridge inside and out chucked out food that gone off. but then again i been cleanin since b4 the weekend.

Can a person die of dehydration from one day of high intensity work out in hot weather?

Low humidity?

Yes At 95 degrees F and 90% humidity the air feels as if it is 150 degrees F

At low humidity your body will stay cooler longer a your perspiration is more efficient but you will still dry out quickly/

http://www.nsis.org/weather/heatindex.ht…

I’ve worked in summer heat in inland California. On one very warm day I drank over 4 gallons of liquids (water, soda, etc) Just to remain reasonably hydrated. I did not have to use the restroom once during that 10 hour workday. 4 gallons of water is equal to 32 pounds of water. Even after drinking that much, I lost 5 pounds by the end of the work day.

So much sweat !?

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

Hi , I am a really fit guy who trains a lot but why do i sweat so much at my Martial arts classes , when guys who arnt half as fit dont, am i not as fit as I think I am , is my age (40) is it normal ? please advise..

Some people sweat more than others it’s not necessarily related to fitness or age.

………….

have you had this problem since you were young, or is it only when you do martial arts? if you’ve been sweating excessivley since you were younger you could have hyperhidrosis which simply means you sweat a lot in certain areas. if it’s only when you do martial arts, then i don’t think you have anything to worry about… some people just get hotter faster than others.

i’m a 14 year old girl with hyperhidrosis :]

……………….

You see, if you put anti persperant on your armpits you will end up sweating somewhere else like your stomach or forehead and if you cover those up you’ll sweat on your tounge but if you cover that up your sweat on the inside and get cancer

Help with foundation for a 50 yr old please?

Monday, June 23rd, 2008

I just found a matte mousse foundation in a avon book but picking from a book is hard. now do you pick lighter or darker than your skin. thats it.

I’m an Avon Representative it is hard to get the right color from a book I suggest to put your hand next to the book and pick the closest color but remember that the color of the skin in your face is lighter than the one on your hand…..I will also suggest give a try to the mineral Make up it is wonderful and will give you a softer skin.

if you get the wrong shade you can always return it because Avon is 100% satisfaction
check out my website for the latest brochure

and enter this code at check out for FREE SHIPPING

“FSANY”

AND LET ME BE YOUR VIRTUAL REPRESENTATIVE!!

……………….

it would be a major challenge to pick up from the book. you might note that the color on the packaging, itself, will not represent the actual effect of the color as it blends with the color of your skin.

if you cant take the risk of getting the wrong color, you might need to try the product and see how it blends with your skin.

but to answer your question, most of the beauty advisers I have met had recommended to me to use a color one shade lighter than my skin color.

So far this works for me. It looks lighter right after application, but some 30 minutes or so later, the colors blend nicely.

…………

you usually pick the same colour as your skin. if they don’t have it then figure out if you are going to tan some more. if you are you should get the darker one. if your skin colour will lighten more over the winter than get the lighter one

Textbook Rentals is a Good way to Save the Environment

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

Students pay for many different kinds of fees each year—there are tuition fees; laboratory fees; miscellaneous fees; and, of course, the fees for textbooks. Students spend hundreds of dollars annually to pay for this specific need. For practicality’s sake, some great minds have come up with a solution to the ever-increasing prices of new textbooks—textbook rentals.

Students do not only get the chance to sell their used textbooks and gain back some money but they could also help other students who would need the exact same textbooks but at a lower price. And since the rent a textbook idea gives way to recycling, it also saves many trees from being taken down each year. Renting a book would mean lesser waste (with 40% of landfills comprising of paper wastes). So this idea does not only save money but also a lot of forests from being denuded!

A good way to rent textbook is to go online. There are many online shops that now offer used books (and occasionally some new ones) at a much lower price. Students have the option to have the books shipped (where they would get the physical book) or they could just download the e-book version. Again, once a textbook is downloaded, hundreds of pages are saved and fewer trees are killed. So this school year, choose the better alternative—rent your textbooks and help save the environment.

Enhance Your Dodge Truck with Nerf Bars and Bed Rails

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

Have you just bought your own Dodge truck? Congratulations! It certainly is a wise investment and you are ensured of great quality. Now, you can enjoy the spacious interior of your own Dodge truck together with tuned steering and strong brakes. You can think of further enhancing the appeal and functionality of your truck by attaching a nerf bar to it.

Actually aside from nerf bars, there are still other truck accessories that you can install in order to further enhance the appeal of your truck. For instance, you should look into the various truck bed rails being sold online or locally.

Dodge nerf bars, including bed rails, are great truck accessories. With a nerf bar, you will be able to climb up or step out of your truck just as easily. With nerf bars, you’d be able to avoid truck damage caused by debris or flying rocks. Most nerf bars are made of 3 or 4-inch aluminum or stainless steel. They are also wrapped with non-slip step pads. You can find nerf bars in various styles – some with black powder coats, others with polished mirror finish and there are those that come in thick chrome plating.

When choosing Dodge nerf bars, you have to take into consideration the truck’s design and its other accessories. If most of the parts of your truck are made of chrome, then it’s a good idea to get a chrome nerf bar. The same goes when you’re specifically looking for truck bed rails.

How large should a bike helmet be?

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

how much of my forehead and the back of my head should it cover?

To be effective as head protection, it should be worn no more than 1 finger-width above your eyebrows (wearing a helmet ****** to the back negates most of its protection). Forehead coverage is more important as most bicycle crashes are “faceplants” but back of the head protection is a bonus that more expensive helmets provide.

Helmet makers specify a range of sizes for their helmets that is based on head circumference. Once you determine the proper size, check the fit and comfort. Fit should be snug. Sizing pads are usually provided. Most importantly, try to wear the helmet to see if your head shape is compatible with their helmet shape so you avoid getting one with pressure hotspots.

——

depends on the style. you need to have it very snug on your head though. thats why they provide those extra little things to stick inside them. and you need to buckle it! otherwise whats the point in having one on? I see so many people rollerblading and bike riding with the straps hanging down the sides of their head.
